In our effort to address the needs of our customers, we have come to realize our Texas facility is not large enough to house enough stock in the areas of medical, trade, entertainment and mass market materials.

So, effective February 22, 2008, we will discontinue shipping service out of the Texas warehouse and redirect and ship most library orders out of our Momence, Illinois Service Center. We believe this move will have an immediate and positive impact on stock levels and fill rates, as the unit capacity in Momence is more than ten times that of Texas. Medical materials will ship in upgraded containers called Smart Kartons. These cartons will be stronger to withstand stress caused during shipping and with the materials shrink-wrapped inside.

After the initial move to the new warehouse, if you would like your primary distribution center changed to Commerce, GA or Reno, NV, please contact Majors Customer Service to have your profile changed. All three warehouses will include the additional medical stock and will be able to handle your orders.

Current Majors office staffs in the Customer Service, I.T, and Library Services departments are not being eliminated and will move to a new office only a mile away from the current facility. You will continue to contact the same Sales and Customer Service Representatives after the move.
