Majors Reports

Majors Management Reports: J.A Majors offers customers several management reports to assist in tracking expenditures, order records and approval plan activity. These reports are available from our website, www.majors.com, under the Services header.

Purchase History Re-cap Reports: For all accounts with Majors, you can request this report which documents purchases for any specific time period up to 5 years. This report can be printed alphabetically by author and sorted by category, publisher or ISBN. Invoice dates and Majors invoice numbers are shown for ease of tracking your expenditures.

Multiple Year Purchase History Re-cap Reports: This summary report is available for the previous 5 years for firm orders, approvals and continuations. Reflecting month-to-month activity for net sales, this report reveals trends in your expenditures from year to year.

Approval Plan Purchase History Re-Cap Report: This report provides you with the number of books purchased, dollar amounts and average costs statistics for any time period up to 18 months prior for your approval plan through J.A. Majors. This report can be printed alphabetically by author and sorted by category, publisher or ISBN.

Approval Plan Purchase Detail Report: This report expands upon the approval plan purchase history recap report by showing specific author, titles and POs and can be sorted according to author, title, category, publisher or ISBN.

Approval Plan Analysis: This report is the most extensive of the Approval Plan reports. This report lists purchases for any time period and sorts them according to category and publisher. Number of units, returns, claims, net billings, average cost and percentage of acquisition expenditures are reflected. Approval customers receive this report twice a year, and fiscal year expenditures can be tracked up to 18 months, according to your budget needs.
